City Place West Palm and its immediate surrounds in West Palm Beach is currently the largest development zone in the Southeastern United States. Ongoing developments include a complete redevelopment and expansion of the ground-level retail and public realm along S Rosemary Avenue, as well as 2 completed ground-up Grade-A+ office towers, a resort-level luxury residence, with multiple mixed-use developments in the pipeline.
We have been absolutely delighted and challenged in every way to be a part of the ongoing efforts in this area since 2019. We have been thrilled to be able to deploy our Visual Twin technology to bring a new dimensionality to such a complex project. Besides becoming one of the largest and most complex tools on the web we have used the model to output over 10 minutes of fly-thru video, a quick-turn promotion film to assist in leasing efforts for a potential large tenant, and dozens of renderings. Even more importantly, we regularly have team meetings on this platform.

A Real-Time Source of Truth
With at least 6 new-construction buildings in the master plan, over a dozen designers, and an evolving development schedule, the cloud-hosted Visual Twin allows the development and marketing team at Related Ross to understand the latest comprehensive design in real-time. The real-time model integrates existing historic buildings, projects in construction, future developments, and public realm designs, all rendered at a photoreal level of fidelity.
When development executives look at a fully immersive vision instead of diagrams, progress meetings have been reduced by 50% and, importantly, and design decisions can be made live during meetings, in some cases saving weeks of back-and-forth.
Moreover, this has compressed coordination cycles for developing renderings by over 66%.
Geo-Synced with Global Context Dataset
Our Visual Twins seamlessly integrate with the Google Earth in Real Time. This allows for an up-to-date geo-location of urban context so the development team can understand immerslely view corridors, adjacencies, and other urban development considerations with immedate feedback.
Similarly, for marketing teams, we utilize this tool to pre-visualize aerial photography from which we can relay flight coordinates to drone photographers directly, for a direct translation of ideating in the boardroom to capturing reality in the field.
